As a major subconsultant, Trigon is providing design and engineering support services for the replacement of existing water lines, and in some cases the installation of new waterlines, throughout several neighborhoods of the City of Houston (COH). Specifically, the neighborhoods include the Mandell Place, Montrose, Westmoreland and Courland Place Subdivisions.

Trigon is preparing detailed plan and profile sheets for the new water line alignments and assisting the prime firm in coordination efforts for related work associated with the waterline construction. In total, Trigon is responsible for approximately 15,000 LF of water lines and is preparing 60%, 90% and 100%/Final deliverables during the final design phase. The following are the general tasks/activities performed by Trigon:

• Participate in kick-off meeting to review scope, schedule and deliverables.
• Participate in biweekly progress meetings to review project status and any issues.
• Review background information provided about the vicinity of the watermains, including record drawings, ESA findings, COH standard details and lists of service connections.
• Review plan and profile sheets for each watermain containing existing underground and aboveground utilities and topographic information from the project surveyor.
• Lay out the location of proposed watermains for installation by trenchless construction, including location of bore pits and connections to existing service lines.
• Generate quantity takeoffs per plan/profile sheet.
• Submit 60% Design deliverable.
• Participate in meeting with COH and Prime to review project status and any comments on the 60% Design.
• Incorporate comments and update drawings for 90% Design deliverable.
• Participate in meeting with COH and Prime to review project status and any comments on the 90% Design
• Incorporate comments and update drawings for the 100%/Final deliverable.
