As the Prime contractor under our USAID A-E IDIQ contract, Trigon Associates is delivering full-service construction management consulting As the Prime contractor under our USAID A-E IDIQ contract, Trigon Associates provided full-service construction management consulting and contract administration support for the Cap-Haitien Port Improvement Project in Haiti. Our experienced team delivered in-house expertise in engineering, construction oversight, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring the successful execution of USAID’s infrastructure objectives.
Led by an on-site Construction Manager, Trigon oversaw all phases of construction, maintaining alignment with project scope, budget, and timeline. Our responsibilities included:
– Planning and scheduling of construction activities and interim operational measures to ensure uninterrupted port functionality
– Stakeholder coordination with port authorities and local officials
– Implementation of best practices in construction supervision, quality assurance, and health and safety management
Our construction management team monitored daily site activities to verify compliance with design specifications and contract requirements. We proactively coordinated with contractors and subcontractors to maintain productivity and avoid delays. Through rigorous quality control and inspection protocols, we ensured all work met required engineering and safety standards.
Supporting the Construction Manager, our on-site team included a QA Engineer, Civil Engineer, Document Control Coordinator, and a Finance/Operations Manager. The team enforced health and safety protocols, minimizing risks to workers and reducing the impact of construction on port operations.
We conducted regular site inspections, produced detailed progress reports, and maintained transparent communication with USAID and project stakeholders. Trigon’s work at Cap-Haitien exemplified our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable infrastructure through expert construction management and collaborative engineering consulting.
