Trigon Associates, LLC (Trigon) is a subconsultant for design & construction phase services for multiple sewage pumping station improvement projects in Shreveport, LA.
Lucas Sewage Pumping Station:
Trigon provided design support and construction phase services for improvements at the Lucas Sewage Pumping Station. The new station is a 3-pump station with firm capacity of 20,000 gpm (29 MGD), and the station discharges into a 48-inch force main that manifolds with other stations. The pumps are driven by variable frequency drives (VFDs). A permanent bypass structure was constructed at the site also, allowing flow to be diverted around the station, if necessary. Construction was complete in early 2015, and Trigon prepared a comprehensive O&M manual.
Agurs Sewage Pumping Station:
Trigon provided design support and construction phase services for improvements at the Agurs Sewage Pumping Station. The new station is a 3-pump station with firm capacity of 3,000 gpm (4.3 MGD), and the station discharges through an 8,000 LF 24” force main. The pumps are driven by variable frequency drives (VFDs). A permanent bypass structure was constructed, allowing flow to be diverted around the station, if necessary. Construction was completed in 2014, and Trigon prepared a comprehensive O&M manual for the station.
In addition to the Lucas and Agurs sewerage pump station improvements, Trigon performed construction phase services for the following sewer lift station improvement projects:
• Tou Don, Risinger & Sunset Lift Stations
• Round Grove Lift Station
• Various Lift Stations Improvements
• Broadmoor Lift Station Improvements
• Sludge Field Effluent Lift Station
Trigon is currently performing construction phase services for the following sewerage station improvement projects:
• Hutchinson Lift Station
• Pinecrest Lift Station
• Country Club Hills, Wonderland & Squirrel Point Lift Station
All of these projects were funded, at least in part, by grants from the US Environmental Protection Agency through the State’s Department of Environmental Quality. Trigon also performed the Davis-Bacon compliance monitoring during construction to ensure all grant requirements are met.
